MotoGP: Cornering Beyond Knee Down with Elbow Pads

In summary, MotoGP racing has taken cornering to a new level in recent years. Riders are now able to get their knee and elbow down on the track, thanks to advancements in safety gear such as elbow pads. Despite the impressive lean angles, some riders are even able to maintain control and balance on their bikes. However, these advancements also come with a hefty price tag, making it difficult for some to afford such high-tech equipment.

I haven't been keeping up with MotoGP racing the last couple of years, but it looks like they have taken cornering to a new level. It's one thing to get your knee down at the racetrack. It's another thing to get your knee *and* elbow down! Check out the elbow pads that they wear now!

Yeah, it's gotten pretty wild. Maximum lean angle, for at least some of the bikes, is reportedly 64 degrees!
