Hi guys, I'm taking up BS. major in Physics, minor in Economics. It's a relatively new program in our school hence I cannot find theses by previous students in the archives.
I don't have chemistry subjects like my BS Physics counterparts, instead I have economics subjects and additional math/stat subjects like econometrics.
I'll be doing my thesis after a few months and I'm looking for a good topic. My would-be-adviser suggested mathematical modelling of prices (of stocks, gold, or any commodity in the market.) I think my thesis will look more like a work in applied math or statistics.
I thought of posting here to gain some of your insights. Please throw some of your ideas at me.
Thanks!
