PF Forum Updates: What's New on the Platform for Scientists?

In summary, the conversation on the PF Forum discussed the missing features of text size, text foreground color, and text background color. While the "Text Color" icon is still present, these features are not commonly used and may not be useful in most cases. The forum also mentioned the Profile Linking section and how each person sees their own name as an example. This could potentially be due to hardcoding, but it is unclear without seeing the code.

Dear PF Forum,
Okay I go to the throat.

What are news:
  1. Ordered list of course
  2. And unordered list
  3. Media gallery embed.

What are missing:
  • No text size?
  • No text foreground color??
  • No text background color?
  • I hope I can color this complain in red!
But never mind. So far PF is the best forum I've ever joined!

I don't think we had background color, at least not in the last years. Text size and text color still exist, just the icons for it are not there any more. In most cases those things are not useful anyway.

Interesting. When I look at the - Profile Linking section,I see my name given as an example. Does everyone see their own name in the example?

No, we picked you as an example!
Everyone sees their own profile there.

That's what I thought but, without seeing the code, I couldn't assume. Hardcoding shows up in the strangest places sometimes. :olduhh:
