Grooks - 1
Piet Hein, a Danish mathematician,
wrote short rhymes called Grooks.
They were brief but filled with
stunning observations.
I hope you enjoy them.[tex]\begin{array}{c} \text{An Ethical Grook} \\ \\ \text{I see and I hear} \\ \text{and I speak no evil;} \\ \text{I carry no malice} \\ \text{within my breast.} \\ \text{Yet quite without wishing} \\ \text{a man to the Devil} \\ \text{one may be permitted} \\ \text{to hope for the best.} \end{array}[/tex]. . . [tex]\begin{array}{c}\text{Problem} \\ \\ \text{Problems worthy} \\ \text{of attack} \\ \text{prove their worth} \\ \text{by hitting back.} \end{array}[/tex]
