Popular Science Night: Physics in a Pub

In summary, a group of physics students are planning to organize an evening of popular science at a pub, where each table will have a "host" who will talk about a specific topic for 10 minutes. The event will last for 1 hour and they are looking for people with scientific training and experience in science communication to participate. Similar events exist in the US, such as the Science Pub at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and the Science Pub at Oregon State University Cascades.

Hi all,
I am a physics student taking his last year of Msc. Some friends of mine and I are thinking to make an evening of popular science. We were thinking to organize the event in a pub, inviting people that haven't a scientific training. Divide the people between the tables where each one of the 'hosts' will talk about a specific topic for max 10 minutes. And then starting a conversation with people, while sharing a drink together.
The event should last at max for 1 hour(ex. 9-10 pm)

I ask for people with scientific training and in particular with some experience in divulgation. Is this possible? Does it make sense such event format? Thank you,
