After editing my post, I can see the information "Last edited: ... ago" there:

I have just noticed that my discussion partner (@anuttarasammyak) has also modified his post (its initial version can be seen in the citation above), but I can see no such information there:

Without this information in the posts of others, users may not notice that some text may have been added since they read the post.

There is a grace period of like 15min where the edit will not show. Do you think the edit was within that time?

I just tried a test on a post of mine from yesterday, and even after I refreshed my browser screen it still showed my original post time from yesterday, not from just now.

Firefox on Win10.

It was. Alas, it's not a bug, its a feature!
However, I think that the criterion for not showing that the post has been edited is not good. It should not be the time from publication, but rather whether anyone else has seen any of the previous versions.
By the way, for example Facebook always shows it and you can also view all the previous versions. I am missing this feature here.

Maybe this thread should be reclassified as a complaint?

Are you sure we are talking about the same thing?

Oops, sorry, you are right. I was looking at the wrong time display. I'll try it again.

Okay, it is not accurate for me either. I edited this post at 10:20AM, and it still shows a previous edit (even after waiting an hour to check it):

Try logging out then back in.
I don't recall if that is needed here, but sometimes the users local cache fails to update.
