Hey,

I wanted to know if there was any way for getting text to becoming a part of a customized background in powerpoint. In other words, I don't want the arrow sign of the mouse to turn into a 'I' everytime I go over the text. I want it to become part of the background image.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Yes, it is possible to customize the text background in PowerPoint. Here's how you can do it:

1. Select the text box that you want to customize the background for.
2. Go to the "Format" tab and click on "Shape Fill".
3. Choose the option "Picture" and select the image you want to use as the background for the text.
4. You can adjust the transparency of the image by going to "Shape Fill" and selecting "Transparency".
5. You can also add a border to the text box by going to "Shape Outline" and selecting the desired color and thickness.
6. To prevent the text from changing to a cursor when you hover over it, right-click on the text box and select "Format Shape".
7. Under the "Text Options" tab, uncheck the box next to "Resize shape to fit text". This will allow the text to become a part of the background image.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions. Happy designing!
