In summary, the President's visit to Canada was met with a lot of security costs and some good moments, but it was also met with some criticism.

Dear America,

Thank you for sending your President over to Canada for a few hours. It has cost you a bundle for all the security. Of course, we're putting up a few of our purple, brown, green and blue bucks not to mention the loonies and toonies all the school kids paid to ride the bus up to Parliament Hill to catch the incredible buzz of the Prez's arrival! They all got the day off to check out the visit.

The most beautiful shot was seeing President Obama meeting our Governor General, who is a woman who immigrated from Haiti and the first "black" woman to hold any office in Canada. The two hit it off like peas in a pod... and make a nice, platonic couple.

Very cool.. .thanks guys... this has made my week a real treat!

Here's a Yahoo moment where the President disembarks from the Airforce 1 into a sea of red surge... or what we call Mounties... RCMP... Royal Canadian Mounted Police...

We have a song about the RCMP... but I can't really repeat it here.

There's a great passage in the BBC's report, contrasting the difference between Harper and Obama

"Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a Conservative who leads a minority government, and it would be fair to say that he has avoided the temptations of charisma in doing so." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7898464.stm

The Prime Minister lacks charisma and has a "doo" that looks like a Harp Seal parked on his head. Possibly a cousin to Trump's weasel.

We miss Trudeau and the rest of the Liberal Mafia. We have another shot at it with Pierre's son... Justin who lived in Vancouver for years teaching at Vancouver College. Now he's an MP and not far from PM! That would truly rock the friggin' country and the world!

Baywax, you do realize that this was just one of Obama's doubles, right? The real Obama is being held in Cheney's office safe.

No problem, baywax...we borrowed it...maybe even from you guys! So great to have such nice neighbors.

But don't worry, we're good for it. Probably.

The visit took longer - because after saying "Don't Tase me bro - I'm not Polish" to each mountie, you have to repeat it as "ne me Tase pas, je ne suis pas Polonais"

Yeah... "don't tase me bro"... that is so sick! I'm surprised they're still investigating that...
nice to see... I think enough Fortune 500 people got upset enough to make it happen.

lisab! you know they're thinking of using the Canadian Banking system world wide...

holy •••• ... makes you hope we're doing it right.

Yah Ivan... I love the creepy music Paul Shaffer plays when Letterman talks about Cheney's dungeon spooking out President Obama's children. That is majorly funny... and sad and true.

Speaking of doubles... SadIam had 12. I think its a fair strategy. It makes room for a special force to replace an errant leader with no one noticing. o:) Could you please send in the Liberal Harper look alike soon?

It's taking a while, it seems everyone involved has to rewrite their statements everytime they are shown the footage.

Remember, you have to send him back...I think we need him to undo some of the damage done by the previous administration.

Your Prez's body language says... interested!

We could start another "Dallas" series... er... "Chicago" I guess.
Or... "The Days of our Governor General, and what the Queen said".

Did Thunderbirds play in Canada? Perhaps Gerry Anderson could help.

Yes turbo, thank you for the loan... he's back on the plane with Maple Leaf cookies as interest. Please do continue with the investigations and reparations. Pretty please.

A complete ringer mgb_phys! Totally calculated (and not in a nice, physics way). You can see the strings on the doofus.

Nah... this guy is looking more alive than Harper.

No shirt no shoes no service.

The night before our PM met with your President a MIG from Russia was cruising our arctic airspace and one or more of our F18s had to escort it off the property. Suppose it was in the budget!
