Record Webcam: Tips & Tricks for Recording Live Video

Hey,
Just curious, but say I'm broadcasting my live webcam, or watching someone elses, whatever, but is there some way of recording that video? any way? i think there are some messengers that might do it, but i don't remember. I had a messenger a few years ago that was made to make camming easier, but i don't really recall what it did. But like, i know my friends and i have done print screens to take random pictures while we're camming, then we just edit out the rest of the desktop... its lame, but works. Anyways, ya, my question is whether or not there's some way to record live webcamming...

InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2 might do it for you, I know it has a nice capture feature.

My webcam came with a program called Video Impression. If I remember correctly it could allow you to record a broadcast from your computer as a movie.
