In summary, Ryerson University and the University of Toronto both offer aerospace engineering programs, but it is difficult to compare them as they have different academic structures and reputations. While Ryerson may not be as well-known for its engineering program, it is still a licensed institution and offers a variety of engineering programs. Ultimately, the value of a degree from either university will depend on the individual's skills and experience.

Would you have to do the slush crawl? I'm afraid I can't comment on the academic merits.

I don't know about Ryerson's Engineering program. UofT's Aerospace engineering is part of EngSci and EngSci is pretty famous in Canada.

Its really hard to compare. So don't take the link seriously.

If a school is licensed to teach engineering it must offer what you want.

I haven't seen many universities in Canada which offer programs like aerospace engineering. Usually they offer mech., chem., civil and the like. Automotive and aerospace are not wide spread.

You can always look at the rankings, but does that really tell you what you want to know?

So will going to Ryerson mean that you won't be able to get a job in the future? No.

I cannot provide a personal opinion on the quality of Ryerson University's aerospace engineering program compared to the University of Toronto's. However, I can provide information on both universities' programs and resources for aerospace engineering students.

Ryerson University offers a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering, which is accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. The program focuses on theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as aerodynamics, propulsion, and space systems. The university also has partnerships with industry leaders, providing students with opportunities for hands-on experience and networking.

On the other hand, the University of Toronto offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering, also accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. The program covers similar topics as Ryerson's but also includes courses in materials science and structural design. The university also has research facilities such as the Institute for Aerospace Studies and the Space Flight Laboratory, providing students with opportunities for research and innovation.

In terms of faculty, both universities have highly qualified professors with expertise in various areas of aerospace engineering. Both universities also have active student organizations related to aerospace engineering, providing students with opportunities for networking and professional development.

Ultimately, the decision on which university is a better fit for an individual student will depend on their personal preferences, career goals, and academic strengths. I recommend researching both universities thoroughly and weighing the factors that are important to you before making a decision.
