The moon is approximately 1/4 the size of Earth, with a diameter of 3,474 kilometers compared to Earth's diameter of 12,742 kilometers.
The moon is the fifth largest moon in our solar system. It is smaller than Jupiter's four largest moons, but larger than the other moons in our solar system.
The moon is relatively small compared to many other objects in our galaxy. It is significantly smaller than planets like Jupiter and Saturn, and much smaller than stars such as the sun.
The largest known star in the universe is UY Scuti, which is estimated to have a diameter of around 1,700 times that of the sun. It is located in the Milky Way galaxy, about 9,500 light years away from Earth.
The moon is incredibly small compared to the largest known star, UY Scuti. In fact, the moon is estimated to be about 2.05 million times smaller than UY Scuti in terms of volume. To put it in perspective, if the moon were the size of a grape, UY Scuti would be the size of Mount Everest.
