Still something wrong with server?

In summary, the latest issue is that some RSS feeds are not fetching correctly, and this is causing some subpar performance. There is not much that can be done about it at this point, but it is good to know.

For about last 10 minutes I wasn't able to access forums. Could be something local to me.

It's not just you, Borek. I'm having problems too.

Sorry, next time I will try to not see anything :-p

I've been experiencing the same problems since the switch.

I've noticed a few slow responses, but that could have been my ISP. But none today.

The failed drive was still attached. We had to take the server offline for a few minutes last night to get it out. Nothing else is being reported in any logs.

I have had some dead zones of 5-10 minutes today, though Yahoo and Google pop up instantly. Not a huge deal, but there may be something still lurking out there. Of course, re-routing due to floods in the NE might have pushed me through some heavily throttled trunks. There is a LOT of stuff that's not working real well here.

I recall Greg once told us this is effect of some RSS feed (SciAm?) timing out and other errors are just a side effect. Problem lies outside PF server, so there is not much that can be done about it (that is, this particular RSS feed could be removed, but Greg wants it on the PF).

But I can be wrong.
