hi

i would like to know for those who do well in physics how do you go about studying this subject? my usual approach to studying hasnt paid off and i got a below average mark in a physics test recently.

i do like physics and i spend much time reading the works of physicist and trying to learn more about the universe but its the Newtonian physics that keep getting to me.

There are 2 keys to understanding physics in my mind. One you must understand the material both mathematically and intunitively. How much is up to the way you understand problems. IF you consistanly solve problems in physics in that area you will not only better understand the material but it may show you parts of physics that can not be explained to be fully understand.

Hi there,

First of all, it's great to hear that you have a passion for physics and are actively seeking ways to improve your understanding of the subject. Physics can definitely be challenging, but with the right approach, you can achieve success.

Here are a few tips that may help you in studying physics:

1. Understand the fundamentals: Before diving into complex concepts, make sure you have a strong understanding of the basic principles and equations. These serve as the foundation for more advanced topics.

2. Practice problems: Physics is a subject that requires a lot of practice. Make sure you are regularly solving problems, both from your textbook and other sources. This will help you apply the concepts you have learned and identify any areas that need more attention.

3. Seek help: If you are struggling with a particular concept, don't be afraid to seek help from your teacher, classmates, or even online resources. Sometimes a different explanation or perspective can make all the difference in understanding a difficult topic.

4. Use visual aids: Physics can be a very visual subject, so try to use diagrams, graphs, and other visual aids to help you understand concepts. You can also find online simulations and videos that can help bring difficult concepts to life.

5. Connect theory to real-life applications: Physics may seem abstract at times, but it has many real-life applications. Try to connect the concepts you are learning to real-world examples to make them more relatable and easier to remember.

Remember, everyone learns differently, so it's important to find a study method that works best for you. Don't get discouraged by one test or grade, keep practicing and seeking help, and you will see improvement over time. Good luck!
