Hello

I hope this is the right forum to ask the question: I have this diagram of ak47 with the rifle parts marked. They are all numbered and listed in the legend of the diagram. I can not quite figure out what the letters 'V' and 'T' next to some of the numbers are supposed to stand for.

I would appreciate any clarification.

Whoever created the diagram should have supplied a legend defining the numbering scheme.

*sigh* I suppose I should have been more verbose.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no general technical drawing "standard" for such a thing.

My first choice would be to locate the source of the drawing/list. Second, post the question on a firearms forum. Third, print the image and take it to a gun dealer.

Hi there,

Thank you for your question. I am happy to help clarify the markings on your technical drawing.

In technical drawings, the legend or key is used to explain the symbols and markings used in the diagram. In this case, the numbers on the drawing likely correspond to specific parts of the AK47 rifle, while the letters 'V' and 'T' are most likely used to indicate specific features or characteristics of those parts.

Without seeing the specific drawing, it is difficult to say for sure what the 'V' and 'T' stand for, but some possibilities could be:

- 'V' could stand for "variant" or "version" and could indicate that the numbered part has different versions or variations.
- 'T' could stand for "type" or "variant" and could indicate that the numbered part has different types or variations.
- 'V' could also stand for "vertical" and 'T' for "horizontal", indicating the orientation of the numbered part in the diagram.

I hope this helps clarify the meaning of the markings on your technical drawing. If you have any further questions or need more specific assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck with your project!
