In summary, the "Big Crunch" theory proposes that the universe will eventually collapse into a singularity, causing extreme temperatures that will make it impossible for any form of life to survive. This collapse will also result in the destruction of all existing structures in the universe. While some theories suggest that certain subatomic particles may survive, this is still a topic of debate among scientists.

What will be the temperature at the time of big crunch? and will any life form survive at the time of big crunch?

The temperature will probably be the same as that at the big bang, since the big crunch is more or less the big bang in reverse.

That being said, a good guess would be that the temperature would be the Planck temperature, or about 142 million million million million million Kelvins.

At this temperature no life could exist, since no atoms could exist.

Related to Temperature & Survival at Big Crunch

1. What is the "Big Crunch" theory?

The "Big Crunch" theory is a cosmological model that suggests the universe will eventually stop expanding and begin to contract until it collapses into a singularity, similar to the Big Bang theory but in reverse.

2. How does temperature affect survival at the Big Crunch?

As the universe contracts during the Big Crunch, temperatures will increase significantly due to the compression of matter. This extreme heat will make it nearly impossible for any form of life to survive.

3. Will any form of life be able to survive the Big Crunch?

It is highly unlikely that any form of life, as we know it, will be able to survive the Big Crunch due to the extreme temperatures and conditions that will occur.

4. How will extreme temperatures during the Big Crunch affect the universe?

The extreme temperatures during the Big Crunch will cause the universe to undergo a state of rapid expansion and contraction, leading to the destruction of all existing structures in the universe.

5. Can anything survive the extreme temperatures of the Big Crunch?

Some theories suggest that certain subatomic particles, such as photons, may be able to survive the extreme temperatures of the Big Crunch, but this is still a topic of debate among scientists.
