Just saw it today. Was skeptical beacuse of cruise, but I came out pleasantly surprise. It was a very beautiful and nicely flowing movie. Very emotionaly charged at time and say maybe a bit of a tear breaker, in that braveheart sort of way. Anyway, I definitely recommend it, cruise was really great in it!

I was going to watch it this Friday but the blizzard won't let me.

The Seven Samurai's plot is a lot different than The Last Samurai but the director actually took some ideas from it and he's also an Akira Kurosawa fan.
