Eighth grade has been going well so far but I'm horrified for high school. I'm probably not going to go to the same school as my friends and then I'll have to start all over again and then they'll all drift away from me and all of this will have been worth nothing. Also I skipped to algebra in the 7th grade which means I'll have to do algebra II as a freshman. I can't do it. Then imagine pre-calculus or trigonometry ??? I'm so done for omg. I'm already struggling now, I guess on the algebra placement test and only decided to join the class for a boy who hates me now so I ruined my life all for nothing. All honors class are gonna suck too :/ The only good thing about school rn is Flowers for Algernon.

As I was growing up, my family moved from one school district to another about five times before I reach High School. Perhaps the most important thing you will learn is how to turn new strangers into old friends. I suspect High School will be an adventure that you will love.
