How did you find PF?
Surfing the internet, it was by chance
It is easy to understand why people do not believe that our universe came from a singularity, an infinitesimally small point, I am one of them. It makes more sense to think of an infinitesimally small worm hole that matter leaked through.

That's actually a false popularization of the Big Bang Theory. A singularity is a term for where the mathematics breaks down, and is not a physical thing. Our current theories break down when we model back in time and the universe becomes too dense. The Big Bang Theory, as the song goes, starts with a hot, dense state. We can't model further back in time without an improved theory - especially of gravity at the microscopic scale.

The current working model of the universe is that it is spatially infinite and always has been. It was never a point - that doesn't even make sense mathematically.

As mentioned already, this is an incorrect way to think (based on old simplifications of cosmology).

Please have a look at this PF Insights article and other references to try to better understand our best current models: https://www.physicsforums.com/insights/big-bang-infinities/
