In summary, Hoot is experiencing graphics problems with their laptop and suspects it may be due to a loose connection. They have been trying to take apart their Tiny 3200 XP notebook for several hours but have not been successful. They have also searched the internet for instructions on how to do so without any luck. They are asking for help from anyone who has successfully opened a Tiny laptop or has instructions on how to do so. Hoot has been advised that taking apart a laptop can be difficult and can cause damage to the case, but they plan on taking it to a specialist repair shop after Easter.

I'm having some graphics problems with my laptop and I think its a loose connection problem. I've been trying for the past several hours to take the casing of my Tiny 3200 XP notebook, without any success. I have also been searching the net to try and find intstructions on how to do so without any luck. I was wandering if anyone here has managed to get into a tiny laptop or has instructions on how to do so?

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually the cases are snapped together from the inside making it a pain to take apart. Unless you know exactly how to take it apart you can do some serious damage to the case. Cracking is a possiblity.

If I was taking apart a laptop I would unscrew all the visible screws. Then I would find the edges and with a flat head screw driver try to pry the casing apart one side at a time.
