In summary, the team with the largest mass is more likely to win because they can produce more force and acceleration. However, the team with less mass can try to make up for this by increasing their coefficient of friction, using studded cleats or shooting projectiles at an angle to utilize momentum.

1. Using principals of physics explain why the team with the largest mass is most likely 2 win. What can the team with less mass do to try and make up?

Any ideas?

So far i think that b/c the team has more mass it will produce more forece and therefore more acceleration, but i can't think of anything that will make the other team win??

Also, the team with the largest mass will generally have a larger frictional force opposing their motion. Going along with the friction idea, the other team could use studded cleats or something else that would increase their coefficient of friction. You could think of some creative things to, like the other team shoots projectiles at a slight angle - or not if you wanted to be really dirty - and use momentum to their advantage.
