How did you find PF?

Hey folks, I'm a first year teacher in a rural county in the mountains of western North Carolina. I'm teaching physics, chemistry and physical science (physics and chemistry lite). I inherited a large classroom full of strange and wonderful devices and apparati. Many of these I'm not sure what they are supposed to do and some of which are probably broken! I'm a lateral entry teacher, coming in with a master's of science and a decade of working in the natural sciences with a background in hydrology, environmental chemistry, and ecology.

Welcome to PF, and have fun in your new teaching position!

Hi everyone, I'm just a physics enthusiast. I took some first-year courses a long time ago, but I wasn't able to continue, so I don't have a degree. Still, I'm really passionate about the subject and try to keep up with it as much as I can. I mostly study in my (limited) free time, going through books I didn’t get the chance to read when I was younger. Thanks for your attention!
