Another topic from me.

I would like you opinion on this please.

Associates degree or TAFE studies are how I plan to being my degree because it is a lot cheaper. I can get upto two years credits.

If I were to stop with an associates a lot of the work available looks like it is in drafting. I cannot draw well by hand. I would be interested, very much so, in drawing electrical or civil designs on a computer. I cannot, however, draw well by hand. I'd be happy just to involved and have some knowledge of the projects.

What do you think of job prospects for a person with an associates in engineering ?

Thanks guy.

This should be the last one from me for a while.

The job prospects for someone with an associate's degree in engineering are quite good. You will likely be able to get a job in drafting, and if you are good with computers, you should be able to find a job in that field as well. You may also be able to get jobs in project management and engineering consulting. However, you will need to demonstrate your ability in the field and have a good understanding of the engineering principles before companies will hire you. An associates degree should provide you with the basic foundational knowledge you need to start your career, but it will be important to continue learning and gaining experience in order to progress in the field.

I believe that both an Associates degree and TAFE studies can be a valuable starting point for a career in engineering. While a traditional four-year degree may be more comprehensive, these options can offer a more cost-effective and practical approach for some individuals.

In terms of job prospects, it ultimately depends on the specific industry and field of engineering you are interested in. An Associates degree or TAFE studies may limit your options in terms of job roles and advancement opportunities compared to a four-year degree. However, with the increasing use of computer-aided design (CAD) in engineering, your interest in drawing designs on a computer could be a valuable skill in the job market. Additionally, gaining knowledge and experience through internships or entry-level positions can also help expand your job opportunities and skill set.

It's important to also keep in mind that continuing your education and obtaining a four-year degree or higher can lead to higher salaries and more advanced roles in the long run. Ultimately, it's important to carefully consider your career goals and weigh the pros and cons of each option before making a decision. Best of luck in your studies and career pursuits!
