What are the thoughts on New Mexico Tech as a graduate school option?

I just received my acceptance letter from NMT last Friday. I just want to know what others think about it. I got in as an electrical engineer, but if I go, I will double major or at least take more computer science classes. It supposedly is #15 in producing science PhDs. Now, what grad school programs have their graduates been accepted to? Would you guys recommend a future professor to go there? Do not worry about the CS part; I started teaching myself C++ since I was 11. And I can say that I am pretty darn competent in programming. I already started teaching myself assembly last year and I say, I pick up on things really quickly.

I think New Mexico Tech is a great school for those looking for a science PhD. It has a great faculty and research opportunities, and it also offers many courses in areas such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science. The university is well-regarded by employers, so graduates should be able to find jobs upon graduation. It has an excellent placement rate and many of its graduates go on to pursue higher studies at prestigious universities. As for whether or not you should pursue a professor position after graduating from New Mexico Tech, that really depends on your future plans. Are you looking to work in industry or academia? If you plan to work in industry, then New Mexico Tech is a great option for you. It provides a great education and plenty of research opportunities. On the other hand, if you are planning to pursue a career in academia, then you may want to look into other universities as well.
