In summary, a computer nerd may be drawn to the world of physics due to their shared emphasis on logical thinking and problem-solving. Additionally, the ever-expanding field of quantum computing and its potential applications in physics may also be a major factor in sparking a computer nerd's interest in the subject. The complex and intricate nature of both fields also allows for a continuous learning and exploration process, which can be appealing to a curious and analytical mind. Ultimately, the combination of their love for technology and their curiosity for the fundamental workings of the universe may be what brings a computer nerd to the world of physics.

Hi there,
I've read threads on this site now and again for a while, so today I decided I finally ought to join.
I'm a computer nerd by trade, so my interest in physics is primarily 'recreational.'
