What can a retired electrical engineer learn about physics at 69 years old?

In summary, a retired electrical engineer can continue learning about physics at 69 years old by exploring new technologies and advancements in the field, attending lectures and seminars, and engaging in self-study through books and online resources. They can also apply their engineering knowledge and skills to gain a deeper understanding of fundamental physics principles and theories. Additionally, joining organizations and communities of fellow retired engineers can provide opportunities for discussion and collaboration on current developments in the field. Overall, age should not hinder a retired electrical engineer from expanding their knowledge of physics and staying updated with the latest advancements.

I join as a 69 year old retired electrical engineer who is interested in physics. I have particular interest in particle physics and quantum mechanics. I don't expect to provide answers on this forum, but I do intend to ask questions.
