the dot above the coil says that the voltage goes from top to buttom
i can't see how v3 needs to show is the sum or subraction of them both.

i can recognize the sum of two potentials when we connect the high potential of the first with the low potential of the second
and measure the other two ends with the volmeter
but he i can't see where they "connect the high potential of the first with the low potential of the second"
?
and where is the other ends?

The dot above the coil indicates which direction current will flow when voltage is applied. It does not indicate anything about the sum or subtraction of the two potentials. To measure the sum or subtraction of two potentials, you would need to connect the two potentials to a voltmeter and measure the difference between them. In this case, you would connect the positive terminal of one potential to the negative terminal of the other potential and measure the voltage at the remaining two terminals.

FAQ: What Does the Dot Above the Coil Indicate in this Circuit?

Question 1: How does this circuit work?

Understanding how a circuit works requires knowledge of basic electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance. It is also important to understand the components in the circuit and how they are connected. A good place to start is to look at the circuit diagram and identify the different elements and their functions.

Question 2: What is the purpose of this circuit?

The purpose of a circuit can vary depending on its design. Some circuits are used to control the flow of electricity, while others are used to amplify or transform signals. It is important to understand the intended purpose of the circuit in order to fully understand its function.

Question 3: Why is this circuit not working?

There could be a variety of reasons why a circuit is not working, such as incorrect wiring, damaged components, or a power source issue. It is important to troubleshoot the circuit to identify the specific issue and make necessary repairs or adjustments.

Question 4: Can you explain the different components in this circuit?

Understanding the different components in a circuit is crucial in understanding how it functions. Some common components include resistors, capacitors, and transistors. Each component has a specific role in the circuit and understanding their functions can help in troubleshooting and designing circuits.

Question 5: How can I improve this circuit?

Improving a circuit can involve changing or adding components, adjusting the wiring, or redesigning the circuit altogether. It is important to carefully analyze the circuit and identify any areas that may need improvement. Consulting with other experts or conducting further research can also help in finding ways to enhance the circuit.
