In summary, a search engine is a software program that allows users to search for information on the internet by entering keywords or phrases. It works by using algorithms to scan and index billions of webpages, organizing them based on relevance and popularity. When a user enters a search query, the search engine retrieves and displays the most relevant results based on its indexing system. The results are ranked based on various factors such as keyword density, backlinks, and user engagement. Search engines constantly update and improve their algorithms to provide more accurate and useful results for users.
