What is the best way to learn maplets?

I tried exploring the Maplet Builder in Maple 12, and reading some of the sections in Maple Help but there are so many I found it confusing. Is there a particular section in Help that would be helpful for the basics or perhaps any helpful websites where I can read?


I need to create a Maplet that asks the user for the wavelength of a light ray that is striking a transparent block/air interface, as well as the angle of entry and exit of the ray. And then calcuate and show the index of refraction of the block, and provide a model/diagram of the result.
