What is the Coefficient of Friction in Particle Physics and Cosmology?

I'm hoping to start physics at university next year, and I'd love to find some people to talk to. I'm most interested in particle physics and cosmology, but I'm willing to talk about most things.

It's actually supposed to be the coefficient of friction (mu) - Had to combine my love for cats and puns somehow ^^
