What is the Failure Mode of Torqued Fittings?

In summary, the failure mode of torqued fittings occurs when the applied torque exceeds the recommended limit, leading to overloading and eventual failure of the fitting. This can result in leaks or complete detachment of the fitting, causing potential damage and safety hazards. Proper installation and regular maintenance are key in preventing this failure mode.
