What is the Multiverse Theory and How Does It Relate to Quantum Physics?

Hello all I am a newbie...stumbled across this site reading about the Multiverse theory. :D
I love physics and space and quantum theory and all that fun stuff but unfortunately do not have any formal education (maybe one day),...just lots of opinion, imagination and an open mind.
I hope to contribute though and learn a little ...or a lot along the way!
