What is the quantum world and how does it work?

In summary, the quantum world is the realm of physics that deals with the behavior of particles at the subatomic level. It is governed by principles such as wave-particle duality and superposition, which allow particles to exist in multiple states at the same time. These principles also explain phenomena like quantum entanglement, where particles can affect each other instantaneously regardless of distance. The functioning of the quantum world is complex and often counterintuitive, but it has led to revolutionary technologies such as quantum computing and quantum cryptography.
