In summary, a chemical engineer plays a crucial role in the petrochemical industry by designing, developing, and optimizing processes and equipment for the production of various chemical products from petroleum and natural gas. They are responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability of these processes, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Chemical engineers also work closely with other professionals in the industry, such as chemists and technicians, to research and develop new products and technologies. Additionally, they play a key role in managing and minimizing waste and emissions in the production process, making them essential in the sustainability and growth of the petrochemical industry.

I am a chemical engineer with strong interest in maths, physics and biology.

I have been working in the petrochemical industry as a process engineer since April 2016. I always care about the details when carrying out projects, in an attempt to increase my technical aptitude.

I entered physics forum in order to give and take answers about technical/scientific questions.
