Hi everyone !
I present myself : I come from belgium,I'm librarian.
I join you because, I need help for a little calculation*.
It's about physics (Newton's law application) , I have searched over the web for a french forum but, it's always good to have different point of view and to practice a little my very bad english**.

So, I'll post my little question on the good section and I think I will participate in the sci-fi section.

Regards, Max.

* If I find the correct section of the forum.

**Feel free to correct me !

No but it's really hard to explain myself in english :
I'll try to keep it simple :
The other day I was watching a Hollywood movie.
As we have all seen the bad guys are shot and are projected several meters backward.
My question is simple : imagining that a bullet can transmit all of its energy in a body what would be the energy, in joules, to push away a man of 80 kg backward ?

In reality, a bullet only transmit a very little of it's énergy and the shooter will also fly backward but it's only a "movie debunk"
Thank you !

(Sorry for my crappy English )
