What is Uniform Motion and How Do We Study It?

In summary, uniform motion refers to the movement of an object at a constant velocity, where the speed and direction do not change. It can be studied through the use of mathematical equations and graphs, such as the equation v=d/t and the distance-time graph. By analyzing these tools, scientists can determine the distance, speed, and time of an object's motion and make predictions about its future movement. Uniform motion is an essential concept in physics and is used to study and explain various natural phenomena, such as the movement of planets and objects in space.

How did you find PF?
Web search
Hi,

I joined this forum to ask a specific question about uniform motion. I posted the question before posting this introduction, sorry. I'm just a middle aged geoscience student from Australia who takes an interest in all forms of knowledge and how we come to acquire it.

Bye :)

:welcome:

We're quite relaxed here on PF. We'll answer questions even if we haven't been introduced properly!
