Has anyone been looking at the strange object that Opportunity has been approaching. At first glimpse a couple of days ago it looks like a large thing that augured in at a shallow angle, making a long slide path, and building up debris out front. It is strangely white, and etc. Is is a part of their landing? Have they stumbled onto the Beagle lander?

That image is as large as it gets for now.

It seems that Opportunity has stumbled upon something unexpected and potentially significant on its journey. The strange object it has been approaching appears to have left a long slide path and built up debris, giving the impression that it may have crashed at a shallow angle. The object is also strangely white, adding to the mystery. It is possible that this could be a part of Opportunity's landing or even the Beagle lander, but further investigation and analysis will be needed to determine its true identity. This discovery is a reminder of the unpredictable and exciting nature of space exploration and the potential for unexpected findings. We will have to wait and see what further images and data reveal about this intriguing object.
