Sorry ramollari. :cry: I guess I did hijack your thread.

To seriously answer your question, (maybe head it in a serious direction) I found a discussion in the engineering section on power generation by dropping water thousands of feet through a tower quite interesting. I did a search but I couldn't find it. If someone else remembers this thread maybe they can find it and post a link (I don't think anyone would trust mine anymore anyway.) :redface:
