Thank you for offering to help find the paper "Sh. M. Kogan, Sov. Phys. Solid State 5, 2069 1964." It seems that the paper is not available online, but the person you were talking to might be able to fax it to you on Monday if you have a fax number. Alternatively, they have attached page 1 and will send page 2 separately. It is suggested that with some image processing, the quality of the paper could be improved within the file size limits. With some image processing (clip off edges, brightness/contrast, reduce color count to (say)16, etc...), one could improve the quality within the bounds of the file size limits. Just a thought...
