TL;DR Summary
Do Z-S example for a transition metal with 4s1 without slater's rule

how to calculate the effective nuclear charge of transition metals using Zeff=Z-S? How does having a half-filled 4s1 orbital effect S?

I am guessing something with a half-filled 4s orbital such as Chromium will not be the simple Zeff=24-18. I guess the 4s1 configuration can't be ignored. I don't know how 4s1 configuration affects the Zeff calculation
