Hello Forum,
When we are speaking about a display resolution 128x64 pixel how can i know the active area width of this display , is it depend to the pixel it self or what ? or is it a speacial calculation from pixel to mm?

If I have a camera orbiting in space way above the Earth, and it has a diffraction limited resolution of 4.1*10^-7 m (diameter of airy disc), then how can I find out the corresponding value if the lens is supposed to take images of the Earth?
Einstein's resolution of the "clock paradox"
I have read that most physicists believe that Einstein's resolution of the "clock paradox" or "twins paradox" is flawed and just plain wrong. I'm curious about what everyone here thinks about it.
And I believe Einstein generally was interested in...
I'm having trouble finding information on why when you get far away from a piece of paper covered in yellow and blue dots (evenly spaced) the sheet eventually appears green. I know this has to do with color resolution but not much beyond that.
Hello there. I have a small problem trying to calculate the resolution of a DFTS (Dispersive Fourier Transform Spectroscopy), which is very similar to Michalson Interferometer or FTS (Fourier Transform Interferometer). I know it has something to do with the scanning distance of the delay arm and...
Which is best? I have the TI-89 but I am curious about how it compares to the hp50g.

It's quite simple Physics to show that the moon landing sites cannot be imaged by Hubble as its angular resolution is too small. So how come:

I have been trying to find the explanation why the wavelength of a wave is the limit of the resolution of an image (i.e. one cannot see the detail smaller than the wavelength), which is sited as the reason why we cannot see an atom using visible light. I don't think I really understand why this...

What's the definition of "vector components"? I mean that when I resolve a vector into two components, my teacher taught us to find its x-component which is on x-axis and y-component on y-axis, so if it be the case, then this vector must not be on either x-axis or y-axis but between. So is that...

Hello,
I have somewhat of a technical question and was hoping you would be able to help me. I have a display that is 852 (x3) x 600. This means that that there are 852 x 600 of the red, blue and green filtered pixels. Say however that I am looking at a completely red object, thus only red...
