Adjustment for misadventures of an expected musician's performance

The discussion centers around notable instances where musicians had to improvise due to unexpected circumstances. A specific example is a Johnny Carson show where a pianist named Gutierrez could not perform due to a finger injury. This situation parallels a fictional story called "Boogie Boy," where a band leader sought a drummer from the audience after their drummer became incapacitated. Additionally, there is a real-life incident involving Keith Moon, the drummer of The Who, who collapsed on stage. The band successfully called for a drummer from the audience, who performed well, with a recording of the event available on YouTube. A related article detailing this incident can be found on Far Out Magazine's website.

I am just watching an interesting video of a Johny Carson show. A pianist someone "Gutierres", not certain the spelling, was expected to appear as a guest but had a mechanical accident with his finger and was unable to show on the production. This also reminds me of a fictional story "Boogie Boy", in which a band's drummer became nonfunctional and the band leader asked attending audience if anyone know how to play drums and could save the show. AND a bold soul did respond affirmatively and very functionally.

I give here a hyperlink to the Johny Carson section:

Drummer Keith Moon of The Who once collapsed onstage. The Who requested a drummer from the audience and he did well. There is a recording of this on Youtube.

I took that relatement report and tried a search online, "who substituted for keithe moon?" and found this article with a included video of the event:

There is a neighboring thread Cover songs versus the original track, which ones are better? https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/cover-songs-versus-the-original-track-which-ones-are-better.1050205/ which is an endless subject and as colorful are the posts there. I came across a Buddy Holly cover by Eva Cassidy only to find out that the Buddy Holly song was already a Paul Anka cover. Anyway, both artists who had covered the song have passed far too early in their lives. That gave me the...
The piece came-up from the "Lame Jokes" section of the forum. Someobody carried a step from one of the posts and I became curious and tried a brief web search. A web page gives some justification of sorts why we can use goose(s)-geese(p), but not moose(s)-meese(p). Look for the part of the page headed with "Why isn't "meese" the correct plural?" https://languagetool.org/insights/post/plural-of-moose/
