Intro Physics Book Question (Practice/Exercise/Workbook/Problems on Basic Physics)

AI Thread Summary
For beginners seeking a physics workbook with exercises and solutions, recommendations often include well-known publishers like McGraw-Hill, John Wiley, and Cengage Learning. While Schaum's Outline is frequently suggested, it is noted that it is not from a major publisher and may not meet everyone's preferences. Some users express dissatisfaction with the Schaum's series and seek alternatives. Concerns are raised about Irodov's classic text, particularly its lack of fully solved problems, which may hinder learning for some students. Overall, the discussion emphasizes the importance of quality content over publisher reputation when selecting a physics workbook.
