TL;DR Summary
Can these swirling lights be nature?
Ok so this video was recorded in Oxnard, CA on 1/15/2024@8:39pm (I actually know the precise location, if you need it for accurate interpretation of the video, ask for it and I will PM you the address).
It was recorded on an iPad 7. The rectangular yellow lights are windows of a nearby house and the white lights swirling in the upper right hand of the screen are in the night sky on the bottom of I believe is a UFO though I feel this may be an unwelcome topic on these forums, but I also have to account for possibly hallucinating due to medical reasons, perhaps what I think I saw is just normal astronomy in the backyard, hopefully the camera doesn't lie.

When viewing the video online through the YouTube app you may switch to higher quality video 720p by the ... button>quality. And yes, I did film this myself and post it to YouTube months ago.

I will be without internet for a few days but I will check back soon.

You mean: What can be seen in the sky at night less than 50 miles from LAX?

Yes LAX is about an hour's drive from there. There's sound in the video and the source of those lights was fairly low altitude, IDK wouldn't we be able to hear some kind of engine noise if the proximity to the airport was the explanation. Also there is a small airport a few miles away in Oxnard, CA too, but iirc it's only supports smaller aircraft.

I thought of a helicopter, a Cessna, or a Learjet. You can only hear engines when the wind is favorable.

If there was better video, the issue could be resolved, but there is not, so it must remain unidentified. We do not know it is a flying object. It may, or may not, be a UFO, or a hoax.

The focus of analysis, on trying to explain the source, is a misapplication of research effort. As effort is expended, the list of possible sources imagined, must increase, independent of the information available. It cannot decrease, because, in the absence of reliable information, nothing can be disproved. The possible interpretations are limited only by the imagination of the viewers. At no point can a certain conclusion be made.

The resources expended on the analysis of data, are inversely proportional to the quality of the data.

"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you." - Friedrich Nietzsche - Beyond Good and Evil.
