Can Tsu still enjoy the Country Fair after her fall?

In summary, Tsu fell and broke her hip, and will be in surgery tonight. She should be able to come home tomorrow. As of right now, she is in the hospital waiting for an operating room, and I came home for some odds and ends, and food.

I'm doing fairly well, thank you. Not too thrilled that I'll be setting off the metal detector at the airport, but that's the way the ball bounces...

I happen to have several Sisters and I believe you know them all. They are Evo, MIH, Moonbear, hypatia, christina (i'm on pain meds and can't find the squiggly thingy ), lisab... let's see...um, Sisters! Am I missing anyone? It feels like I am... Can someone find that ancient Sisters of PF thread? That was fun.

And it's very nice to meet you, too, AmedEzz! Welcome to PF! Have you been fish-whacked, yet?

Hey! THAT'S what I need at the OCF, OmCheeto! A walking stick! Yeah! One I can whack someone who insults old ladies with. Yeah!

Actually, what you need is a bacalhau, a dried cod that is as hard as a plank. Get a big one so that you can use it as a walking stick AND also do a fish whack on here. That way, you don't have to switch implements.

:)

Actually, Tsu, I think this might be the best time for you to ask Ivan to buy you a Segway. :)

That's about enough to form a sisterhood...who's "the boss" ?

BTW, if you're coming to Egypt anytime soon, i'll be waiting for you in the airport because you seem such a nice person. :!)

They all are!

The sisterhood is a gestalt entity that rules over PF.

  • #77
Well it will soon be overthrown when Ivan's group starts the...*oops said too much*

We are all exceptionally well trained and experienced 'bosses' (just ask us!) but since I am the oldest and wear the dainty size 7 shoe (as opposed to the rest of the sisters who mostly wear size 8 ) that kind of makes me the 'mother superior' I guess.
Thanks AmedEzz! You'll be the first one I call when I plan my trip to Egypt. Of course my hip will have to heal first...

Thanks, Zapper! That bacalhau sounds like just the ticket! The Segway would be a blast but difficult to ride and steer with only one leg (I can't bear any weight on my left leg). Well, that and, being the klutz that I am, it's almost guaranteed that I'll break my OTHER hip on that puppy.

SHHH!

Chilies, non-fossil fuels, and other exotic forms of energy will win out. I am concentrating on the chilies, in which humble little plants gather energy from the sun and nutrients from the Earth and might someday be able to launch space vehicles. The taste-testing is meticulous, but fun. Other members of the secret society of "hot guys" have their own concentrations, but we will have to play the cards close to the chest until we are prepared for world domination.

I don't remember mentioning the "walking stick"...
How did you know about it?

THE "walking stick": a 4 foot long, 1/2" x 1" piece of furring I found along side of the road at the beginning of my midnight road trip. Used extensively to fight off invisible mountain lions and wolves, between 2 and 3 am, and to help bear the weight of 12-half pound bars of hippie soap, and 3 full pound of delectable OCF fudge. Subsequently decorated and varnished by the only person that tried to save me from the ordeal. I love that stick.:!)

ps. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
Unless of course it leaves you paralyzed from the neck down, and, well, then, never mind.

Well, hmmmm... I don't believe you DID mention "the" walking stick, but - I know stuff. "It" sounds - interesting. and...useful! But, the kind I was thinking about is - a nice piece of wood about the size you described, maybe a little worm eaten for interest, sanded and stained and varnished by some sweet old stoner hippy dude or dudess. Oh, yeah. Make my soap a neroli scent and my fudge dark chocolate and without nuts. What a PAL!

DANG! I can't believe this happened right before OCF. POOP!

I have to admit, I had to look up "neroli":
Neroli oil is a plant oil similar in scent to bergamot produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium var. amara or Bigaradia
I was at my senior elder OCF friends house yesterday, grazing her garden. She had some white flower that she called a "mock orange". She kept saying;"Don't they smell wonderful?" For the life of me, I could not smell anything. It smelled to me like fresh linen. But anyways, I ate a whole bunch of the blossoms, and they were quite tasty. We were not sure if they were toxic or not so I stopped eating them after a bit. So we decided that if I showed up alive in a few days we would put them in our salads in a few weeks.
and my fudge dark chocolate and without nuts. What a PAL!
Well, I can do that without even thinking about it.

Perhaps you should call OCF admin. Last year I saw an electric Lazyboy running around the fair. I'm sure Ivan and I could build one for you in the next 23 days.

Never tried to eat my mock orange, but it smells strongly. And it is white. And it is in full blossom. Well, it was in full blossom week ago, but local climate can delay it. Besides, I am in Europe and we are several hours ahead ;)

Tsu, take a look at iBOT. Unlike Segway it allows you to sit, and it can keep you high at the same time

Do you think the "hot guys" group can try to defect one of the sisters or is it a hopeless case? maybe Tsu can , after all she's drugged.

That iBot is one serious-looking piece of transportation. You might have to borrow one for a while, Tsu, just to, you know, test drive it and whatnot.

The creaziest party in the last 20 years I would say. General idea was to dress the way you never do; somehow it ended with a house full of whores and pimps. I have started in my best suit, most guests were not aware I have one, but I was soon remodeled. Luckily my nails were not painted red, but it was close
