Good morning.
Mechanical engineering is my profession; however, I have a strong interest in physics, mathematics, and the history and philosophical underpinnings of science and technology.
I am a tinkerer, both in the sense that I like to build things (and take things apart to understand how they function), and in the sense that I tend to dabble in many areas of knowledge.
Questions posted to Physics Forums and the answers which followed have proven very helpful to me in the past, and so I have decided to become a member myself.
