How to calculate a hollow cylinder's volume without the hollow center?

In summary, to calculate the volume of a hollow cylinder without the hollow center, first determine the volume of the outer cylinder using the formula \( V_{outer} = \pi R^2 h \), where \( R \) is the outer radius and \( h \) is the height. Then calculate the volume of the inner cylinder using \( V_{inner} = \pi r^2 h \), where \( r \) is the inner radius. Finally, subtract the inner volume from the outer volume: \( V_{hollow} = V_{outer} - V_{inner} \).

Hello, how do we calculate the volume of a hollow cylinder but only calculating the wall excluding the hollow center?

Sorry, I have no clue. Maybe, height times width times length like the others?

It didn't tell me how to calculate a hollow cylinder without taking the hollow center together.

look up cylinder on wikipedia and you will see the volume formula.

Next consider the hollow cylinder as two cylinders where you compute the volume of the outer cylinder and subtract the volume of the inner cylinder.

The volume of a cylinder is the height x the area of its circular base.
