In summary, a curious amateur scientist is someone who has a strong interest in scientific topics and conducts research and experiments in their free time, without formal training or education. They are driven by curiosity and a desire to learn and understand the world around them. While they may not have the same resources and expertise as a professional scientist, they make up for it with their passion and determination. Curious amateur scientists play an important role in advancing science and uncovering new discoveries.

How did you find PF?
I was looking for science forums and this came up, twice.
I am looking to have many questions about planetary orbits answered.

You could always ask @Greg Bernhardt . He created this one. I think he was 16 at the time. But I think you have to start a new thread to ask, as you're not allowed to ask that type of question in your 'intro' thread. I believe that would probably go in the 'General Discussion' forum.
