- How did you find PF?
- I was a member years ago and recently found the forum again
I started working in a cabinet shop when I was 15 after I quit school, even though I had a science Scholarship from C.W. Post, which I obtained when I was 13. Then, I went into water-cooled exhaust pipes for race boats after custom cabinets fell out of favor, I was also building homes and dormers for a living.
A race pipe customer invited me to work in his hazardous waste business, so I took him up on it. I ended up taking over the job of installing and programming the Network, computer systems, and database for the company. I then went out on my own, started a corporation, and built hazardous waste evaporation systems. Then I got divorced and went to work building railings, pipe railings, staircases, and spiral staircases, out iron, steel, and stainless steel. Then, I went to work for an HVAC company. I had gone for HVAC when I was in grade school. I installed and serviced commercial and residential systems for the company.
Then I went out on my own, and one of my customers, after seeing me work, asked me to join IBEW Local 3 and install, service, and inspect Fire Alarm systems for DCAS in the city of New York. I did that for ten years, and then after COVID, I started an HVAC corporation, and I have been installing and servicing commercial HVAC systems for owners of franchises.
