I can't be sure that how stuff works is such a reliable website after this:

I have seen mistakes in How Stuff Works. Most notably (even after I sent in suggestions that they change it) the proper operating prionciples behind tandem rotor helicopters.

I saw the lightsaber bit too. It was a joke. I got a chuckle out of it.
