AI Thread Summary
To maximize wireless charger efficiency, focus on optimizing coil design and switching rates, ensuring strong coupled resonance by selecting the appropriate frequency. Experimenting with different coil configurations and inductance values is crucial for improving power transfer from the transmitter (Tx) to the receiver (Rx). Understanding the type of power supply needed, whether AC or DC, is essential for effective operation. Further research and experimentation are recommended to enhance knowledge and skills in wireless charging technology. Engaging with online resources may provide additional insights and guidance for the project.

hi... now I am in progress to do a wireless charger pad by using coil. so I've seen a lot of project regarding to this wireless charging. do u have any idea how can i make it more efficiency? meaning that how can i get a maximum power transfer while transferring the power from Tx to Rx. normally i see all the project only can achieve until 57% from the actual charger by using all those clumsiness wires charger... hope u can give me any suggestion or idea .thanks.

Do a load of experiments with coils and switching rates. You need to figure out what frequency you are going to operate at, learn how to obtain/wind a coil of the inductance that you want to get strong coupled resonance, and then figure out how to build an efficient power circuit to drive your Tx coil.

can u explain what do you mean by choosing the frequency? actually i have watch a lot of videos about the wireless charging by using inductive coil and one thing that I am not clear is what kind of power supply that we need to use? either AC or DC?

I really don't want to sound unhelpful, but you are too far down the learning curve this time around for this project. I suggest you put your time into shopping on the internet for what you are after.

I used to be an HVAC technician. One time I had a service call in which there was no power to the thermostat. The thermostat did not have power because the fuse in the air handler was blown. The fuse in the air handler was blown because there was a low voltage short. The rubber coating on one of the thermostat wires was chewed off by a rodent. The exposed metal in the thermostat wire was touching the metal cabinet of the air handler. This was a low voltage short. This low voltage...
Hey guys. I have a question related to electricity and alternating current. Say an alien fictional society developed electricity, and settled on a standard like 73V AC current at 46 Hz. How would appliances be designed, and what impact would the lower frequency and voltage have on transformers, wiring, TVs, computers, LEDs, motors, and heating, assuming the laws of physics and technology are the same as on Earth?
Thread 'How Does Jaguar's 1980s V12 Dual Coil Ignition System Enhance Spark Strength?'
I have come across a dual coil ignition system as used by Jaguar on their V12 in the 1980's. It uses two ignition coils with their primary windings wired in parallel. The primary coil has its secondary winding wired to the distributor and then to the spark plugs as is standard practice. However, the auxiliary coil has it secondary winding output sealed off. The purpose of the system was to provide a stronger spark to the plugs, always a difficult task with the very short dwell time of a...
